Lucas Tyler - Lead Anchor and Producer

Lucas Tyler, age 34, was Naked News' original male anchor, joining the program in April of 2001, and continues to be the lead anchor for the new Daily Male Edition. His magnetism and strikingly handsome looks have made him a fan favorite since day one.

Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, Lucas spent eight years in the high-stress world of corporate banking. He eventually realized a career in the financial industry was too constricting for his free spirit and thrill-seeking personality. Breaking free of his secure career, he decided to take a year to pursue his thirst for creativity and adventure. Fortunately for us, it took him just three months to come face to face with an endeavor that suited him perfectly - a Naked News audition for male anchors.

Now based in Toronto, taking the leap to Naked News seemed very natural for Lucas. Physically fit - he began his serious workout regime at fifteen - and passionate about the world around him, the program seemed a perfect match. Although he's never been a nudist, he's always comfortable in his own skin, as anyone who's watched the program can tell. When he isn't working or working out, Lucas can often be seen darting through traffic on rollerblades. Living in the big city, he finds his favorite means of transportation not only convenient, but also a great way to exercise.

In a typically Tyler twist on things, when Lucas isn't baring it all, he loves dressing up. He has always had an eye for fashion, and can often be found scouring stores for that unique piece to complete an ensemble. He credits his many friends in the fashion industry for helping to further ignite his creative side. He's modeled professionally, but for Lucas, the world is his runway.

Single, Lucas still looks to the future for many new challenges. Since January of 2003, he has been the Producer and Director for both the Female and Male editions of Naked News, and more recently, has been instrumental in developing the new direction the Daily Male has taken. That means a lot of work for him, including personally checking out each and every guest anchor, but Lucas is always up to the task. What's more, his career hasn't even reached its peak, although it's difficult to imagine what else there is for him to conquer.
